How the score works
Every resume is scored out of 100 across six areas, weighted for the kind of role it reads as: designer, engineer, product manager, or general. Weak or generic writing is marked down, so a high score has to be earned.
- 25Content qualityLength for your kind of role, strong action verbs, and measurable results: numbers, percentages, team sizes.
- 20Layout & structureA clean column ATS software can read in order, clear section headings, and no tables.
- 20ATS compatibilityStandard, readable fonts, and contact details an ATS can find: email and phone.
- 15Keywords & skillsThe skills and tools for your role, from a library of 600+ across design, engineering and product.
- 10FormattingBody text at a readable 10 to 12pt, and dates on your experience and education.
- 10Professional toneThe sections recruiters expect, bullet points, and plain, confident writing.
Private by design
Your resume is read, scored and built entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or tracked: no accounts, no cookies, no analytics. The privacy policy has the details.
Where it comes from
ResumeLyse began as a Figma plugin for designers, and still is one. The website brings the same scoring engine to everyone, with job matching and a builder that works anywhere.
Who made it
ResumeLyse is designed and built by Bivek Deb, a product designer. Ideas and feedback are always welcome on LinkedIn.
