Privacy policy
Last updated 26 October 2026
In short: your resume never leaves your device. ResumeLyse reads, scores and builds resumes entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no uploads, no cookies, no analytics and no ads.
Your resume
When you check a resume, the file or text you add is read by code running in your browser. It is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is gone when you close or reload the page. The job descriptions you paste are handled the same way.
What’s kept on your device
One thing is saved in your browser’s own storage, on your device only: your builder draft, so it’s still there when you come back. “Start over” clears it, as does clearing this site’s data in your browser. We can’t see it.
Cookies, analytics and tracking
ResumeLyse sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Its fonts and the code that reads PDF and Word files are served from this site, not from other companies.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel may keep standard technical logs when a page is requested (such as IP address, browser type and time) to keep the service secure and running. These logs never contain your resume. See Vercel’s privacy policy for details.
Changes
If ResumeLyse ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so before it happens, and the date at the top will change.
