Terms of use
Last updated 26 October 2026
By using ResumeLyse, on this website or as a Figma plugin, you agree to these terms. They’re short, and written to be read.
Guidance, not a guarantee
ResumeLyse helps you check and build resumes. Its scores, job match and suggestions are guidance based on common practice for applicant tracking systems (ATS). They are not guaranteed to match how any particular ATS, employer or recruiter reads a resume, and a high score doesn’t promise an interview or a job.
Your content
You own what you write, and you’re responsible for it being accurate and truthful. The job-match feature suggests terms a posting asks for: only add the ones that honestly describe your experience.
Your data
Everything you add stays on your device. ResumeLyse doesn’t collect or send your personal information anywhere. The privacy policy explains exactly what’s kept in your browser.
Using it fairly
ResumeLyse is free for personal use. Please don’t try to break it, copy it to offer as your own service, or use it to mislead employers.
No liability
ResumeLyse is provided as it is, without warranties. Its maker isn’t liable for hiring outcomes, lost data (including a builder draft cleared from your browser), or misuse of the tool. Keep your own copy of anything important.
Changes
Features and these terms may change as ResumeLyse is updated. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using ResumeLyse after a change means you accept it.
